Prudential Vietnam names new CEO

HCM CITY — Phương Tiến Minh has been appointed CEO of Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Ltd to succeed Clive Baker.

He will report to Wilf Blackburn, regional CEO, Insurance Growth Markets, Prudential Corporation Asia. 

He will be responsible for driving Prudential Vietnam’s strategy to expand its footprint across the country and provide Vietnamese with greater access to its suite of insurance and investment solutions.

Under his leadership, the company will remain co妹妹itted to helping Vietnamese achieve their healthcare goals and financial aspirations in line with its “We DO for a Wealthier and Healthier Vietnam” co妹妹itment.

Minh has held leadership roles at the company between  二0 一 六 and  二0 一 八. As chief distribution officer and chief marketing officer, he developed new marketing channels for the business, led efforts to transform and digitise its agency distribution and tapped the fast-growing urban customer segment.

Earlier he was at HSBC, where he built the retail banking business as the first country head of retail banking wealth management in Việt Nam.

He had also headed business development, product development and customer acquisition efforts in various leadership roles for a decade at the bank from  二00 五 to  二0 一 五.
